Caprica Returns October 5th!

This is a good move on the part of Syfy. I sure hope it means season 2 is all that much more likely. Do you find this valuable?

I had heard hints that S2 might be a no go.
Bear M had hinted at it in his blog....I think he tweeted it too.

If they go on with more action and bring in the Cylon war right away, I can see the series regaining some viewers.
It is interesting that SyFy pushed the return to Oct and not keep it for 2011.
So this comes out right around when SGU comes back on air with new stuff.
I just wonder if they plan to pair up the shows on the same night. Do you find this valuable?

They do.

SGU is on Tuesdays at 9:00 and Caprica follows immediately at 10:00. I think it will be a good move for both shows.

As far as season 2 goes, if season 1.5 gets good ratings and 1.0 gets good DvD sales, it's a good bet that season 2 will be made. So tell your friends to watch and get involved in the Caprica community on syfy.com and various other fan sites like this one. Do you find this valuable?

I for one hope it gets a season 2 but I am not cofident it will.
they already hadd all these shows made before they got any fan feedback from first part of S-1.
and for some reason ratings were not quite good enough.
It looks like these 1.5 shows will be better and I am glad it get a new night and sgu for lead in so maybe that helps ratings.
I think they need a 1.0 or better in the demo and at least 1.5 mil total viewers.
all we can do is hope neilsen viewers watch the show, if not we wont get a S-2. Do you find this valuable?
