| ClickBrought EasyEditup in a traditional Russian Jewish family, Sasha Roiz always had an artistic side. Born in Israel, raised in Montreal and now residing in Los Angeles, Sasha focused on athletics and music in his younger years, eventually exploring his artistic abilities playing drums in Juno-nominated seminal rock band Tricky Woo.
After touring and releasing four albums with the group, Sasha turned to addtheatre, spending four years studying in Montreal and England, graduating from the prestigious Guildford Conservatory in 2002. Sasha’s stage work garnered him a nomination for 2005’s “Past Perfect” for Best Supporting Actor at Quebec’s Masques Awards.
Transitioning to television and film, he landed his first film role in Roland Emmerich’s blockbuster “The Day After Tomorrow”. Since then, Sasha Roiz'shas been working steadily on several television series, including "NCIS", "CSI: Miami", "The Mentalist", “Playmakers”, “Show me Yours”, “Beautiful bio...People”, “Jeff Ltd.”, and in films, “16 Blocks” and “Man of the Year” and the upcoming "Unthinkable".
