CapricaCAPRICA TRIVIA
Caprica

  • According to Battlestar Galactica and Caprica producer Ron D. Moore, the Twelve Colonies settled on 12 habitable planets all within the same solar system.
  • During the entire run of Battlestar Galactica, the only three colonial planets actually seen on screen were Caprica, Scorpia, and Tauron (the last two seen in Razor during the Pegasus flashback).
  • Caprica takes place 58 years before the events of Battlestar Galactica, when William Adama was 11 years old (making Commander Adama 69 at the time of the Cylon Holocaust).
  • The very first "Cylon" was a robotic warrior body (built by Daniel Graystone) driven by an artificial brain (created by Graystone's rival, Tomas Vergis).
  • Much of Caprica City is recognizable as Vancouver, British Columbia, where the series is filmed.

  • Sister Clarice's act of forming an infinity sign out of a ring of water on her desk is a reference to the early days Christianity, when Christians identified one another by drawing half a fish symbol in the dirt (if the other person completed the symbol, they each knew the other was a Christian).
