About Caprica
 | Caprica is a prequel to the sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica, taking place 58 years before the Cylon attack that destroys the Twelve Colonies at the beginning of the BSG story. Caprica deals with life on the Colonies in the days before the first Cylon War, focusing mainly on the lives of two families – the Adamas and the Graystones – on the Colony of Caprica. It also touches on the first experiments with artifical intelligence that led to the creation of the Cylons. Caprica's central character, Joseph Adama, is the father of Battlestar Galactica's Admiral Bill Adama, and grandfather to Lee "Apollo" Adama. |  |
